STARTERS

( all served with bread rolls and butter )

Chef’s home-made soup of the day served with french bread and butter £5.50

Finest king-size prawns and smoked salmon served on a bed of shredded lettuce with a lime mayonnaise £8.95

Roasted beetroot with creamy mozzarella, roquette salad, pine-nuts and balsamic dressing £6.95

Portobello mushroom stuffed with mascarpone, stilton and basil £7.95

MAIN COURSE

Poached salmon with asparagus spears served with a white wine sauce £16.99

Braised lamb shank with a rosemary and redcurrant sauce served on a herb mash £17.99

Angus fillet steak pan-fried with crushed black peppercorns and served with a cognac cream sauce £19.50

Individual aberdeen angus and ale pie £14.50

Breast of corn-fed chicken stuffed with gruyere and panchetta and wrapped in a filo parcel. Served with a shallot and red wine sauce £16.95
